Mrs. DePoppe's Social Studies classes are learning about the immigration to America and Ellis Island. Students created and memorized identification cards to prepare for their "Entry Interview" to identify with the experiences of immigrants in the 1800's.

Dollars for Scholars raised over $50,000 in scholarships last year for LSH Students. Dollars for Scholars is hosting their phone-a-thon this Sunday and we need volunteers to make some phone calls. These are 1 hour shifts starting at 4:00 PM until 8 PM. For every shift a senior works, your name will go into a drawing for an additional scholarship.
NHS students who volunteer can use this opportunity for your NHS sponsored hours as well.
LSH post secondary students can use this for volunteer hours as well.

Le Sueur-Henderson high school students had the opportunity to attend the Construct Tomorrow event held at the Mayo Health Systems Event Center in Mankato today. Construct Tomorrow is a hands-on experience that helps bring awareness to high school students about the variety of post-secondary opportunities in the construction and building trades.
